Since 1985, CASA has trained more than 4,507 volunteers who have given over 1,989,000 hours to helping over 11,889 youth in foster care in our county! These trained volunteers are appointed by judges to speak up for at risk children in the family court system.

CASA of Orange County is a member of the National CASA/GAL Association for Children. At our chapter, the mission is focused solely and completely on the children of Orange County, California. We are a privately-funded non-profit organization that serves severely abused, neglected and abandoned children through the recruitment, training, and continued support of volunteers who advocate and mentor these children, representing their best interest in the courtroom and other settings.

We believe that the protection of children is a fundamental obligation of our society and therefore our advocates will fight for and protect a child’s right to be safe, to be treated with dignity and respect and to live in a healthy environment where they can learn and grow.
